TapScan to Join CMA Café for a Conversation on Packaging Innovation.

A senior marketing roundtable on capitalizing on GS1 Sunrise 2027.
November 4, 2026TapScan Team

TapScan is joining the Canadian Marketing Association for CMA Café: The Perfect Marketing Storm through Packaging Innovation, an executive roundtable exploring how packaging can connect customer experiences, marketing and commerce.

As the industry prepares for GS1 Sunrise 2027, GS1-powered 2D barcodes can do more than support checkout. They can also give brands a way to deliver digital experiences when customers scan. Join TapScan to discuss capitalizing on GS1 Sunrise 2027, enabling GS1-powered 2D barcodes (QR) to work at checkout and deliver digital experiences when customers scan.

The discussion will explore how packaging innovation intersects with integrated media, content and operations, omnichannel marketing and commerce platforms. Together, these topics point to new ways of connecting in-store and online experiences while supporting shopper discovery and first-party data.

TapScan will be represented by co-founders John Snow and Terry Dennis, and Katie Dennis, Business Development Specialist.

For brands exploring what these connected experiences can look like, learn more about TapScan’s Dynamic Product Information (DPI) offering.
